This blog was created to address the issues caused by the "It's Kosher" certification of products and establishments as well to address the erroneous and misleading statements made by Rabbi Meir Gershon Rabi on his "It's Kosher" website.
The authors of this blog are individuals within the Melbourne community who feel an injustice is being committed to our community in the misrepresenting of Kosher products and production. Despite the claim that the "It's Kosher" certification gives the consumer wishing to observe kashrut more choice, many in our community feel that the leniencies employed by "It's Kosher" are based on an erroneous interpretation of halacha. This is in fact causing the Kosher consumer to purchase products of dubious kosher status.

I can not see how A2 milk could be Chalov Yisroel.
ReplyDeleteEach farm would need at least 3-4 cameras and apparently there are over 30 farms. You would need a team to watch this.
Besides a Mashgiach is needed at each farm to ensure vat totally empty and clean.
This milk is available in every supermarket around Australia, and Rabi claims all Cholov Yisroel.
Wishing you all Hatzlacha Gedola.
ReplyDeleteIt's about time that not every man and his dog can do what they like when it comes to comunual matters!
is there any rabbi in the world, besides the reform who agree with his way of doing things ?
ReplyDeleteWhy do you need other Rabbonim?
ReplyDeleteMeir Rabi knows best. He even knows that although Rav Kanievski writes you cannot commercially produce Ben Pekuah Rav Kanievski really means the opposite.
Rabbi Rabi even knows that if the Chasam Sofer would be alive, he would support Meir Rabi against 99% of Poskim in the world!
If this Milk is not 100% Chalav Yisrael Meir Rabi and his crook mate Gradman should be put into cherem!
ReplyDeleteWell I do not believe it can be possible that it should be Chalav Yisrael according to the criteria of the Rav of Tenuva, that this is based on. Ther brand, A2 is simply too big to have all the needed checks plus to havbe enough cameras on all 30 farms and that they should all be watched.
ReplyDeleteNowhere in the world outside of Israel is this sysyem being used even for much smaller milk productions. Not even talking re the Yogurt and ice-cream.
Milk is a very small problem compared to many other products he certifies/promotes!
ReplyDeletemy rav told me its not kosher to eat
ReplyDeleteSo what are we going to do about these 2 fraudsters???
ReplyDeleteAre we going to wait till Kashrut becomes a joke after it's NOT kosher demolishes every principle
The saddest thing here is that so many non frum people who still care somewhat about kashrus are eating these products. How on earth can Lord of the fries be kosher? Is the a mashgiach around the clock there while these goyim are cooking, etc?
ReplyDeleteLaffa matzos? OMG don't even get me started!
Apart from anything, how are we supposed to trust Rabi and his criminal henchman Gradman? Don't they need to be trustworthy people in the first place in order to be placed in a position of power regarding any kind of kashrus? Gradman has been charged and convicted!
The way 'It's Kosher' handles its kashrus questions is by diverting attention to other kashrus organisations and slamming them for earning money! What on earth?!? Rabi and Gradman are the sole proprietors and therefore sole beneficiaries of any and all money made from 'It's Kosher'
I know for a fact that what IT'S KOSHER claim that they use CCTV technology to monitor food outlets, factories, farms is simply not true.
ReplyDeleteThey are fooling all.
Proof will shortly be available that not everywhere there are cameras, where they claim there is, cameras are not always on, and they are definitely not monitored most of the time.
I hope once this proof is made public all the Rabbinate will agree to take a stance and put Meir Rabi and Kalman Gradman into cherem.
Both have a history of blatant dishonesty.
Consumer Affairs should be contacted to advise that this rogue business charges for certifying Kosher which they are definetly not.
This is terrible, but misquoting Rav Kanievski one of the leaders of our generation for his own personell business is not much better.
ReplyDeleteRabi is a shocker!!
meir you had made so much trouble in the community, how about pack your bags and go to Israel ( i believe they could handle you ) no one except for bloch would miss you
ReplyDeletei am thrilled to say
ReplyDeleteI heard Rabi is resigning from ben pakua as all the rabbonim said it cant be done
so rabi is obeying the rabbonim
great news
Nonsense!
ReplyDeleteMeir doesn't resign from his business.
Meir is never wrong.
Meir obeys no one besides Gradman and Bloch.
i bet you bloch is going to lose his dough
ReplyDeleteLoosing your own money is one thing, but loosing money of investors could be criminal, after they advertised EVERY RABBI AGREES THAT BP IS THE MOST KOSHER MEAT.
ReplyDeleteThe investors must know this is a scam. The company was launched in a non kosher resturaunt with Bloch, Rabi and Gradman eating away, while no mashgiach in kitchen!!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd I read that the female non Jewish Mashgiach admitted at that function that some animals in this 100% pure Ben Pekuah herd were found NOT to be Ben Pekuah.
ReplyDeleteA fact that Bloch and Rabi don't want anyone to know about.

ReplyDeletePlease can we stick to issues re the credibility or lack of credibility of It's Kosher and Ben Pekuah.
ReplyDeletewhich jew in the world would touch this ben pakau ?

ReplyDeletei feel sorry for those who have invested in this scam
ReplyDeleteI have now heard bits and pieces of some scandal re Rabbi and a Giyores!
ReplyDeleteWhat's the story????
We have been forwarded info on 4 seperate alleged 'scandals' involving Meir Rabi. One is about converting a young lady.
ReplyDeleteWe are trying to check up how accurate these stories are.
Once we get reliable confirmation we will advise.
