The Rabbonim of Australia have their say

Maybe not all the Rabbonim but, in my humble opinion, the one's that carry the most weight.

  2. Rabi writes on Ben Pekuah web page ALL RABBIS AGREE THAT BEN PEKUAH IS THE MOST KOSHER. With such ridiculous statements corresponding with his huge ego there is little chance that he will care what any rabbonim in Melbourne or elsewhere say

    1. Let's just hope that the confused kosher consumer will care what the vast majority of our Rabbonim say.
The only Rabbi who apparently supports Rabi is a retired Rabbi Coleman from Perth who I doubt know much what is going on. He writes that he appreciates Rabi's work in stopping intermarriage!?!?

  3. I doubt if Rabbi Coleman would have any clue what the word Ben Pekuah even means!

  4. I spoke to Rabbi Coleman about his letter he told me he was cheated and asked rabi to remove it , he wont remove it same fraud as he did to Dayen Abraham
    this Rabi is only trouble

    ReplyDelete
  5. Maybe he would say
    MEIR the son of PEKUAH!

  6. For Rabi to advertise Rabbi Coleman shows how desperate Rabi is for approval.

  7. Is The level of kashrut these days measured by how many selfies the Rav Hamachshir has shot of himself and standing next to who, and how impressive your Facebook page is?

    ReplyDelete
  8. The many photos that Rabi has on his Facebook
Page posing with women etc. etc. is a little different than what any other orthodox rabbi involved in Kashrus would do!
But it seems everything about Rabi is different than the norm.
Maybe this is part of his open orthodoxy, as he chooses to daven at Shira Chadasha minyan, where females lead some of the davening.

  9. We decided to no longer use products certified by it's kosher.
I asked our rabbi if we should kosher our kitchen. He said he will let us know tomorrow. My husband was pretty cranky at me for asking.
    Hope for the best!

  10. I just hope your Rabbi will not make you Kasher your kitchen, but I respect him for wanting to think it over.
Although most of my friends would not eat in my home if I have cooked using ingredients from It's Kosher.
    Good Luck!

  11. Please let us know what your Rabbi decides!

  12. How can one individual with a record like Rabi has, and opposes every Poisek and every accepted standard of Kashrus just to make money for his business and people care what he says or does. Rabi is a joke and their are reform Jews who just love someone trying to break every principle in Kashrus with his spins and dishonesty.
If I would see Meir Rabi driving on Shabbos I wouldn't get excited.
Rabi is a nobody so let's just forget about him and all the nonsense he preaches.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Rabi for a price will say its permitted to drive on shabbat the same reform will just say again how great he is

  14. retired Rabbi Coleman from Perth , writes that he appreciates Rabi's work in stopping intermarriage!?!?
well he has not helped bloch , who ruined his previous wife and poor children
i could write a book on it !!

  15. i spoke to Rabbi Coleman from Perth who told me he does not endorse rabi and asked to be removed from his website, rabi can not be trusted , and he also told me rabi should be forbidden to be in involved in kashrut .

  16. The problem is not just some rogue hechsher but the fact that Rabi has publicly said that the established Kashrut agencies are corrupt and not rigorous in their certifications. I understand that in some cases he has contacted some of the large companies that have their products certified and told them that Kosher Australia (for example) are not reliable.
If he were just certifying his own products and wasn't trying to convince everyone that his certification is superior to all others it would be less of an issue.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Wouldn't be suprised if one day he becomes officially a reform Rabbi.

  18. Isn't it time we stop bashing Rabi. I agree he did some big mistakes and put his profits ahead of established minimum standards in Kashrus and Haslacha. He was very critical of all the other Hashgachot but it backfired badly exposing his poor credibility and honesty.
But now that everyone already knows that Rabi cannot be trusted the time has come to finish of this blog and accept Rabi is no longer a danger as he is finished.
So not healthy to just go on and on repeating Meir Rabi's poor behaviour.

  19. Shimon Sam writes that Rabi is FINISHED!

I am not so convinced. He is a brilliant spin doctor who has very little regard for facts or truth. I hope I am wrong. But the Soton doesn't give up easily.

  20. this rabi should not be allowed to get involved in hashgochot
    he is a joke

    ReplyDelete
  21. If this could be achieved it would solve every problem.
Can all the companies who pay him to say their products are kosher be advised they are wasting their money as the Jewish community who keep kosher do not trust Rabi and Gradman after all their dishonesty.

    ReplyDelete
  22. Charlie - I have written to many of the companies to say that they are wasting their money on certification that few follow. Unfortunately, no positive outcomes of my efforts as yet...

  23. You a doing a Mitzvah, helping to protect people from eating 'fake kosher'.

  24. The only person in the whole world who has come out publicly in support of Meir Rabi and his Ben Pekuah project (which he claims THAT EVERY RAV AGREES IS THE MOST KOSHER MEAT!) is a secular Jew from NY called Rosenberg who has the infamous blog called FAILED MESSIAH. This blog was set up to attack Yiddishkeit and Torah values and he is obsessed against Rabbonim and chareidim.
Today Rosenberg announced he is retiring from his vile blog Failed Messiah.
Apparently Shlomo Yehuda Rechnitz from Los Angeles paid him $50,000 to stop his attacks on Torah Values.
-Poor Meir Rabi has lost his sole supporter!

    ReplyDelete
  25. This is not correct!
Rabbi Rabi's 2 partners being Gradman and Bloch surely support his/their Hashgacha!

    ReplyDelete
  26. What about KELVIN MOTTEL??????????

    ReplyDelete
  27. Who in the world is kelvin mottel?

    ReplyDelete
  28. As was documented on the EXPOSING RABI sight,
A Kelvin Mottel wrote on the Kosher Australia blog that Rabi Meir Rabi is the only rabbi in Australia that can be trusted, and although every Rabbi in Australia plus all kashrut organisations worldwide not to allow gelatine that originates from non kosher meat but Gelatine should be used due o the ruling of the great Rabbi Meir Rabi!
Rabi writes that Gelatine SHOULD be used rather than CAN be used.
This view is based on Reb Chaim Ozer's view which was not accepted by 99% if the Rabbanim of the previous generation.
This big supporter of Rabbi Rabi called Kelvin Mottel was traced, and was confirmed to actually be MEIR RABI himself.
A fact that he later admitted.
Apparently Rabi has a bunch of fake names he uses to support himself.

  29. OMG!

THIS FELLOW IS A REAL SHOCKER!!!!!

    ReplyDelete
  30. I am not sure if I follow the story re Geletine and Rabi's fake name!
I understand that Rabi says you should use Geletine originating from non kosher animals.
    BUT
what do all the other Rabbis hold?
    A) it is permissible to use this Geletine but not preferable!
    B) It is forbidden!

    Could someone please clarify!
    Shabbat shalom

    ReplyDelete
  31. Kelvin Mottel (also known as Meir Rabi) wrote on the Australian Kosher blog that Rabbi Meir Rabbi is 100% correct in promoting the use for kosher consumers of Geletine that originates from non kosher animals.
All Australian Kashrus authorities totally forbid the use of Geletine originating from non kosher animals. Every single Kashrus authority in Israel, Europe and USA accept that this Geletine is 100% not kosher.
The full correspondence between Rabbi Gutnick and Meir Rabi pretending to be a Kelvin Mottel can be seen in the site called EXPOSING RABI.

  32. The most important principle any rabbi must have is Honesty and Credibility. Being involved in Kashrus even more so.
For someone calling himself a rabbi (will not advise where he became a rabbi!) and faking his name to be able to manipulate blogs as if this person supports Rabbi Rabi, when in fact it is him shows he is not straight and cannot be trusted.
Besides which rabbi would market and promote himself with his false letters and all his selfies??

    ReplyDelete
  33. This site is getting boring.

How many time does it need to be proved and repeated that Rabi is a scam!

    Next subject please!

  34. Until Rabi stops it is our moral responsibility to challenge him and let all know what is going on.
    Shavua Tov

    ReplyDelete
  35. So keep going on for another 50 years!
As Rabi is too stubborn and has an ego far too big to ever stop.

    ReplyDelete
  36. Rabi loves publicity.
    Just totally ignore him.

    Give him enough string.
    He will hang himself!

    ReplyDelete
  37. Reading Rabi's many comments I 100% agree that this fellow seems to love being a rebel and being controversial.
There are unfortunately enough in our community who hate tradition and rabbis. These people love Meir Rabi for twisting Halacha to try to show all rabbis are worthless.
This is exactly how the reform movement started years ago in Europe.

    ReplyDelete
  38. he is a lot worse than the reform because he acts orthodox,

    ReplyDelete
  39. would any one believe rabi is right and all the other rabbis are wrong ?
it seems to me he is a fraud ?
how can he call him self a rabbi ?
